Reindeer Girl

Okay so I have been crazy busy lately still!

But I was inspired to make a render after reading "Dear Santa, Get Bent!" by Viola Grace. Last year I made a reindeer girl package, and so I imagined that if a reindeer was out in public as a human that they would look more like the package that I created! So inspired by the book I made a render of what I thought that the main character might look like!

Busy!

I have been so busy I have not had time to do much with Daz lately! But I did manage to squeeze in a few test renders with Kenna for V4

Shunned

I recently read Shunned by Kristie Lynn Higgins, I found the story engaging, but the cover did not do the book justice I felt!
So made a rendered inspired by it!

G3F checkers

I used a stock checkers jpg to create a variety of colors for a set of checkers to show off the different diffuse area's on G3F. The original image is 192 x 192 pixels and I set the tile to 5x horizontal and vertical.

Genesis 3 Tutorials

I ran across some Genesis 3 tutorials on the Daz Forums and thought I would share them if anyone is looking for some help with Genesis 3!

Very Basic G3F Skin Resource

This is a extremely basic G3F skin resource, it is only meant to show where the seams are and allow the user to see the differences in the UV map from the other sets such as G2F and V4.

It is not a full texture/material, it is just a simple set of jpgs. Any basic image editor should be able to open them and modify them without a problem.

Feel free to modify and the jpg's and make your own unique set of custom skins for G3F.

Please do not redistribute the un-modified set, I have made it freely available for everyone at ShareCG and here!

If you have any questions please let me know!

This is what the basic texture set looks like applied, nothing fancy, but a good starting point.

These are the original diffuse files that are used in this render, note the big change on the arms and legs which are now entirely separate images (in V4 and Genesis 1 and 2 they were in the same image) They have also moved the ears from the torso area to the head.

Sword Poses

They had some awesome poses in the fast grab area today, but I have already used up this months budget.
So here is my attempt at a new pose for V4 holding a sword.

Test of the new Iray

I got this weeks freebie the V4 Superhero pack and I decided to test out Helena in the Domino outfit. The first render is the new Iray one (which looks awesome!) but took forever to render!

The second one is the older 3D Delight one

Void

Void outfit (need TC5 for it work right)

Renders of Wayii's Void outfit
It was made for Poser and so had a minor issue with the ambient not working right to throw the colors in the piping. It was an easy fix though.

Elven guys WIP

Since it was requested I made a male version of the elven skins. They are not done yet, but getting there. They will still use the V4 uv set, I am too lazy to create the skins from scratch so they will be recommended for use with Genesis 1.

I am not happy with Aran's tattoo, I thought I would like the bevel but it isn't working for me. I am also not real happy with the eyebrows. They need a bit of work I think, they lack definition.

Ciro's tattoos are also a WIP.

Nox and Jokull aren't done yet. I tried to do Jokull (snow elf) before and it just looked weird, hopefully he will come out better this time!

WIP Nishi Drow Style Elf

Yep I have elves on the brain apparently!

This time I went for a Drow style one.

WIP Haruna the Wood Elf

Still working on this one, I am not entirely happy with the colors at this point. Currently just going to be a texture no morph.
